Small Groups

Small groups are an important way we grow in our faith! By meeting weekly with a small group to study the Bible, engage in spiritual disciplines, pray together, and challenge and encourage one another, we help each other walk more closely with God. In Rosslyn, people move in and out so much it is often hard to find community. Being part of a small group is a way to both make friends and connect with God.

We have a small group study each Sunday after worship. Topics range from studying a book of the Bible one chapter at a time, to video-based studies that help us think about where the Bible comes from and what we believe, to studies of United Methodist belief and practice, to reading spiritually-focused books together.

We also have a Bible study each Wednesday morning in the Fellowship Hall. This "SoulFood" Bible study is primarily for our homeless neighbors, but all are welcome.

From time to time we've had other groups come together for prayer, for support and encouragement for people seeking jobs, and more. If you would like to start a small group, talk to Pastor Allie! She would be glad to help you with resources.
